Winter Track: Patriots Compete at PTFCA Indoor Carnival
BETHLEHEM -- Six members of Germantown Academy's winter track team took to Philip Rauch Fieldhouse on the campus of Lehigh University on Feb. 10 for the 2024 Pennsylvania Track and Field Coaches Association Indoor Track Carnival. In total, 82 teams competed.
Girls Highlights
- Layla Gentile '25 took sixth place in the shot put with a throw of 34' 6.75".
- Lorelai Fortmann '25 finished ninth in the pole vault, clearing 10' 6". The height is a new PR for the junior.
Boys Highlights
- Evan Badami '26 ran the 400 Meter Dash in 50.94, taking fifth place in the event.
- Blake Brown '24 cleared 20' 6.25" in the Long Jump to finish 10th.
- Adrian Diem '25 finished 10th in the pole vault, clearing 13'.
- NYU-commit Mario Toscano '24 threw 43' 1.25" in the shot put, finishing 14th.
